Our client was a leading Construction Company based in Hong Kong and with significant operations throughout Asia. They are a recognized industry leader and have had operations in Mainland China for over 25 years. The client wanted to further expand its Mainland China through a major acquisition- its first such transaction in Mainland China.

Client's Requirements
The client wished to develop an acquisition strategy, conduct target screening, and to assist in negotiations with Chinese target companies. Specifically, the client was looking to expand the scope of responsibilities for a traditional Mainland China construction firm through the acquisition of a local design institute (LDI).

Through negotiations arranged by Fontainburg, our client successfully entered into a strategic alliance with a well-known LDI.
